• Read and write English, interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Read and understand product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one‑on‑one or small group situations.
• Apply common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently lift up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs a variety of management‑assigned duties including store stocking, carry‑out services, and cleaning.

• Maintain a store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Maintain hygiene and clean interior and exterior areas as directed.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
