• Provides both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
• Provides services for the placement of vascular access devices including PICC lines for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provides and documents direct and indirect patient care services that ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients.
• Provides administration of medications and therapeutic agents vital to implement the treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care.
• Works alongside physicians on PICC insertions and covers procedures.
• Demonstrates a dedication to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and healthcare colleagues.
• Manages complex and unpredictable patient care situations and is a nursing leader.
• Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings.

California RN License, BSN preferred.

BLS; ACLS.

Direct patient care and strong IV skills; 2 or more years’ experience in acute care setting; ICU experience preferred.

Sitting, walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Exposure to normal office and clinical area noise.
