We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of SCM (S&OP) (Sales & Operations Planning) to lead and develop our company’s end-to-end supply chain S&OP process. The ideal candidate will align demand and supply planning, improve forecast accuracy, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and support decision‑making that optimizes business performance.

Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the S&OP Process: Champion, design, and lead the weekly S&OP cycle, including demand review, supply review, pre‑S&OP, and executive S&OP meetings.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and product management to ensure a single, aligned forecast and operational plan.
  • Demand Planning: Oversee the demand planning process, incorporating statistical forecasts, market intelligence, and sales input to create a robust and accurate demand plan.
  • Supply Planning: Collaborate with the supply chain and manufacturing teams to develop a supply plan that meets demand while optimizing inventory levels, production capacity, and lead times.
  • Performance Management: Establish and track key S&OP performance metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns), and recommend corrective actions as needed, and report on performance to leadership.
  • Inventory Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels across the supply chain, balancing service levels with working capital objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to the S&OP process, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • SCM Strategy: Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
    Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and supply plans to meet business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of S&OP professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Skills/

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in S&OP, supply chain, demand planning, or related functions.
  • 10+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in data analytics and S&OP software/tools.
  • Proven track record of successful S&OP process design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • This is a full‑time, fully on‑site position based at our Buena Park, CA location. Remove/hybrid work is not available.
Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience in CPG, FMCG, manufacturing, consumer goods, etc.
  • APICS, CPIM, or other supply chain‑related certifications.
