Entertainment - Pianist

Overview

$22.01 / hour for Knott’s Berry Farm;
Knott’s Berry Farm is casting experienced pianists to support daily entertainment operations. Applicants selected will be hired as a seasonal associate and should have open availability throughout 2025, especially weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun). The ideal candidate has an approachable and warm personality, is able to confidently sight-read sheet music, can musically improvise, adapt quickly, and work well in both solo and group settings.

This role is compensated at a rate of $22.01/hr.

• Work as a member of a team to achieve overall atmosphere and goals set by Entertainment leadership and show directors.
• Consistently perform your role as scripted and/or conceived.
• Maintain the highest quality of showmanship and guest interactions on stage while performing in a professional and artistic manner.
• Provide guest service according to Six Flag Entertainment Corporation’s standards when serving guests or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving accurate directions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the assigned work area, perform all duties in compliance with Six Flag Entertainment Corporation’s Safety guidelines/requirements, and report unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements that include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Fulfill attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flag Entertainment Corporation’s attendance policies.
• Adhere to Six Flag Entertainment Corporation’s Rules of Conduct and other park/division policies and procedures, including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be available to work all assigned rehearsal and event dates, including weekday/weekend nights and holidays.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company Policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, and DMV checks.
• Provide records of previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

• Must be able to confidently sight-read sheet music and musically improvise.
• Open availability throughout 2025, especially weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun).
• Experience as a pianist and ability to work well in both solo and group settings.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks as required.
• Provide records of previous employment, education, and personal references as required.
