About The Role
Are you a strategic leader who balances technical rigor with a high-velocity manufacturing mindset? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to serve as the site authority for our aerospace die-casting and precision machining operations. This isn't just a compliance role; it’s a leadership mission to champion a "Quality First" culture while optimizing production flow and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:
Own the AS9100/ISO 9001 system, steering internal and third-party audits (including NADCAP) while mentoring a high-performing team of inspectors and metrologists. - Technical Authority:
Serve as the subject matter expert on die-casting alloys, porosity, and complex CNC machining risks. You’ll be the final word on drawing interpretation and ASME Y14.5 standards. - Advanced Inspection & Metrology:
Drive the strategy for receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Oversee CMM program validation, MSA, and GR&R to ensure our measurement systems are bulletproof. - Defect Prevention & NPI:
Lead the APQP/PPAP process, ensuring seamless New Product Introductions through robust AS9102 First Article Inspected (FAIR) submissions via portals like Net-Inspect. - Root Cause Mastery:
Direct the charge on 8D and 5-Why investigations, turning nonconformances into permanent systemic fixes to slash the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Background: 6–10 years in aerospace or regulated manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a decisive leadership role.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. - Mindset: A blend of "sense of urgency" and "disciplined follow-through." You use data to make sound decisions and aren’t afraid to stop a shipment if quality is at risk.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and digital quality systems, with a knack for leveraging technology to streamline legacy processes.
