Senior Store Assistant - Keyholder

Job Summary

Senior Store Assistant in Bude – 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.

• Provide outstanding customer service, engaging with customers to help them find what they need.
• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
• Support and supervise colleagues, assisting with keyholder duties such as opening and closing the store and assigning daily tasks.
• Pitch and sell benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers.
• Maintain the store to high standards and keep the workplace safe and organised.

• Friendly personality with a positive attitude.
• Reliability – flexible, committed and supportive of team and customers.
• Accountability – experience as a key holder or supervising team members.
• Ability to “get stuck in”: hands‑on, willing to roll up sleeves for warehouse and stocking tasks.
