Local Delivery Driver – CDL A with Hazmat

Location: Buda, TX – Retail shop

Airgas is hiring a Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers. The Driver will load, unload, deliver, and return cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.

Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet. Most vehicles are under six years old and equipped with driver‑friendly technology such as on‑board computers, collision avoidance systems, camera technology, and GPS navigation.

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick‑ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt.
• Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake certifications.
• At least one year of recent Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years, or an accredited driving school diploma plus one year of experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Clean driving record: no more than two convictions or a maximum of two at‑fault accidents in the last three years.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76–125 lbs. with material handling equipment.
• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to eight hours and bend frequently.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Forklift operator certification required.
