Our Local Office is looking for a compassionate team of Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide high‑acuity care for a special client/patient. Below are the details.

Schedule

Full Time:
Immediate Availability.

  • All days & nights available, 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Sundays through Saturdays.
Location & Setting

Buda, TX 78610.

Age Range

Pediatrics (Infant).

Acuity

Feeding Tube, Tracheostomy, Ventilator & Medication Administration.

Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
  • Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
  • Current CPR certification (hands‑on component). Aveanna can assist after hire if necessary.
  • TB skin test current within last 12 months.
  • Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
Essential Job Functions
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisor or physician.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
  • Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
  • Recognize changes in patient needs and responses, intervene, and implement care to prevent or reduce risk.
  • Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Provide care using infection control measures that protect staff and patients per OSHA standards.
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes, self‑care techniques, prevention strategies, and nursing needs.
  • Maintain competency knowledge by participating in educational programs, continuing education units, internal learning management skills, and skill evaluations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Additional State‑Specific Requirements
  • South Carolina:
    One (1) year of pediatrics experience.
  • California:
    One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license.
  • Louisiana:
    One (1) year of experience required working as a licensed nurse.
  • Continuing Education as required by state.
Preferences
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
