Our Local Office is looking for a compassionate team of Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide high‑acuity care for a special client/patient. Below are the details.
ScheduleFull Time:
Immediate Availability.
- All days & nights available, 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Sundays through Saturdays.
Buda, TX 78610.
Age RangePediatrics (Infant).
AcuityFeeding Tube, Tracheostomy, Ventilator & Medication Administration.

- Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where the clinician will practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
- Current CPR certification (hands‑on component). Aveanna can assist after hire if necessary.
- TB skin test current within last 12 months.
- Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisor or physician.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
- Take appropriate nursing actions based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses, intervene, and implement care to prevent or reduce risk.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide care using infection control measures that protect staff and patients per OSHA standards.
- Educate patients and families about disease processes, self‑care techniques, prevention strategies, and nursing needs.
- Maintain competency knowledge by participating in educational programs, continuing education units, internal learning management skills, and skill evaluations.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- South Carolina:
One (1) year of pediatrics experience. - California:
One (1) year of experience required working under current nursing license. - Louisiana:
One (1) year of experience required working as a licensed nurse. - Continuing Education as required by state.
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
- Effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
- Ability to sit and climb stairs.
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Strong sense of smell and touch.
- Ability to respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport.
