Registered Nurse – RN – Days & Nights (Immediate Openings)
Our local office is looking for a team of compassionate nurses to provide care for a very special client/patient. We’re ready to welcome new team members immediately.
Schedule: 1‑3 shifts per week (7pm‑7am or 7am‑7pm)
Location / Setting: Buda, 78610
Age Range: Teenager
Acuity: Feeding tube & medication administration

Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care in accordance with the developed care plan and physician orders for each patient, while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries.
Essential Job Functions- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Observe and assess patient condition, reporting changes to supervisor and/or physician.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient needs, implementing interventions to prevent risk or reduce risk.
- Maintain personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures protecting staff and patients per OSHA standards.
- Educate patients and families about disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of competencies by participating in educational programs and continuing education.
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care policies and procedures.
- South Carolina – One year of pediatrics experience.
- California – One year of experience working under current nursing license.
- Louisiana – One year of experience working as a licensed nurse.
- Continuing Education as required by state.
- Medical Oncology RN – 2 years Registered Nurse experience with cardiac monitoring and oncology experience.
- Ambulatory RN – 2 years experience with vital assessment, plan of care development, and telephone triage.
- Medical Surgical RN – 2 years Registered Nurse experience.
- Peri‑Operative Care RN – 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, preferably with oncology experience.
- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management.
- Effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Travel for patient visits.
- Lift 50 pounds.
- Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting.
- Sit and climb stairs.
- Visual and hearing acuity; strong sense of smell and touch.
- Reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
- Respond physically and mentally to emergency situations in the home or during transport.
- Function in diverse environments with possible exposure to allergens, blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
