Machine Operator; 2nd Shift

Machine Operator Weir ESCO Bucyrus, OH 2nd or 3rd Shift (Night Shift)

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a range of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to manufacture high‑quality steel parts. The primary objective is to ensure that all parts are produced accurately and within the specified time frames, adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Machinery Operation
  :
  Efficiently operate a variety of production machinery, including CNC machines, drills, grinders, forklifts, and burners, to produce steel parts accurately and safely.
• Blueprint Interpretation
  :
  Read and analyze blueprints and technical specifications to guide the machining processes and ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerances.
• Quality Control
  :
  Monitor production processes and document any exceptions or issues. Address problems promptly to maintain high standards of quality and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with shop employees and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth operation and effective communication throughout the production process.
• Safety First
  :
  Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture

• Education:
  
  High school diploma/GED
• Experience:
  
  2 years in Manufacturing industry, a plus, but strong work history will be considered
• Other Necessary Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Mathematics, Problem solving
