Housekeeping Aide

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services Department at our Bucyrus location.

Cleans all areas of the organization (hospital, physician clinics, etc.) by performing the following duties:

• Ensure all patient care areas, administrative rooms, and common spaces are consistently maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, and sterile areas in accordance with institutional policies.
• Collect and dispose of biomedical waste in a safe and compliant manner.
• Restock cleaning supplies and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with other environmental services staff to support special cleaning and infection control initiatives.

Required:

• Must be able to successfully complete an Essential Function Test (EFT) prior to employment.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED);
• One to three months of related experience and/or training; or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
