Are you passionate about creating meaningful moments and empowering people to live life on their terms? At Old Barn Close, we are looking for dedicated Part Time Care Assistants to join our supportive team and help adults with learning disabilities thrive and achieve their goals.

Located in Gawcott, near Buckingham, Old Barn Close is a registered care home providing 24/7 care for four adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, and some physical disabilities.

What You Will Do

As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in promoting independence and dignity. Every day will bring opportunities to make a positive impact, including:

Supporting with mealtimes, personal care, and daily routines
Encouraging involvement in activities such as music and art therapy
Assisting with appointments, shopping, and household tasks
Organising outings and helping the people we support feel included in their community
You will work collaboratively with colleagues and the people we support, building meaningful relationships that make a real difference.
Sleep-ins will be required as part of the role.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference
A clear communicator who values individuality and listens with respect
Flexible and a team player, ready to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays
Ideally experienced in care (but full training provided if not)
A driving licence with access to a vehicle is required

33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), rising to 35 with service (pro rata)
