A mixed gender specialist school & sixth form school for ages 11-18 is seeking a Science teacher for a role starting ASAP and guaranteed until the end of the academic year (perm role available for the right candidate). The school is easily accessible by public transport with great rail links. You will experience a fantastic setting to deliver quality teaching in a school that is exemplary for its creative stimulating and broad curriculum with SEN pupils with complex needs including but not limited to Autism.

• Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum
• Delivery of Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons with specialist subject up to Key Stage 5
• Setting homework which effectively links the lessons
• Marking and providing effective feedback on completed work
• Managing classroom behaviour
• Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of children
• Attendance at school events such as parents evening

• Teaching Qualification
• SEN Teaching Experience
• Relevant Science teaching experience (Must be able to provide 2 teaching references)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
