The RoleAs part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Operations Coordinator to support the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and efficient day‑to‑day running of the Operations function. This varied, fast‑paced role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities Operational & Administrative Support- Check and approve sales orders against customer requirements and internal procedures.
- Verify stock availability to support accurate and timely sales order fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate operational records across relevant systems.
- Produce monthly KPI reports by collecting, validating, and analysing data from internal systems.
- Support the Sales Administration team in the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders.
- Liaise with Production, Stores, and Purchasing teams to ensure material and stock requirements are understood and met.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies or order issues.
- Act as a reliable point of coordination to ensure information flows accurately between teams.
- Monitor inventory levels based on historical usage, forecasts, and current demand.
- Support the identification of potential stock shortages or excess and raise these appropriately.
- Assist with maintaining accurate stock data to support operational decision‑making.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Contribute ideas and practical solutions to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
- Support the implementation of agreed process improvements and new working practices.
- Proven experience in an operational, administrative, or coordination role supporting order processing or supply‑related activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, with a consistent track record of delivering accurate, high‑quality work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and know when to escalator issues.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow defined procedures while maintaining a questioning and improvement‑focused mindset.
- Logical, methodical approach to understanding systems, processes, and data.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working across departments and seeking clarification when required.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to support changing priorities and operational needs.
