Diesel Mechanic (Maintenance)

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years in the field. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. Certification from an accredited technical school or equivalent work experience. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions, electrical systems, and other mechanical issues.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize and execute repairs in a timely manner.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Work with some of the most recent after treatment and driver safety related technologies.
