Retail Customer Service Cashier

Overview

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring for Cashier positions. In a fast-paced environment, cashiers maintain clean locations while delivering friendly and accurate service. No experience is required; training is provided. Flexible scheduling and team collaboration are important to our operations.

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Using a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Maintaining cleanliness of your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and potential leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
