ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret weld symbols on technical drawings and blueprints.
• Configure welding machines and equipment.
• Perform welding operations using MIG welding techniques to conform to specified dimensions.
• Ensure all welds are complete and meet required quality standards.
• Repair bad welds as necessary.
• Use and operate various cutting equipment (oxy/acetylene torch, Air Arc, or plasma cutter).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Assist with the annual inventory audit process.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

$20 / Hour +$2 shift differential, overtime and weekly production bonuses

The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

REQUIREMENTS:

• No experience necessary. On the job training provided.
• Ability to pass an internal 1G welding test.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
• Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
• Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Constantly thinking and processing information.
• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.
• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.
• Use of personal protection equipment is required.
