We are looking for self‑motivated and safety‑conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!
New employees can earn $55K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40‑50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses. There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives. Position is full‑time with benefits! 1st Shift.
When working a 9‑hour shift schedule:
Monday‑Thursday Day shift – 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Friday Day shift – 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM. And mandatory alternating Saturday Day shift – 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
When working an 8‑hour shift schedule:
Monday‑Friday 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM. Must be able to work all schedules.
- Assembles steel joist components ready for final welding; performs such work consistent with corporate mission, values and department’s financial objectives.
- Sets up jigs, reads and interprets shop drawings necessary for such work.
- Moves parts into position.
- Aligns parts.
- Tack welds or clamps parts into position ready for moving along conveyor to final welding area.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned by supervisor including, but not limited to, cleaning, metal scrap removal and other joist assembly‑related activities.
