Job Summary: The Production Supervisor owns the achievement of our goals and champions our plant culture and vision through the leadership and development of their team. This role is responsible for delivering the safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives through effective communication, LEAN manufacturing tools, and employee engagement.
Essential Functions:- Ensure safety of the team by setting the example and maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, work practices, observations, and corrective actions. Coach best behaviors and partner with the safety team to maintain up‑to‑date compliance training and safety policies.
- Provide hands‑on leadership to meet daily KPIs through effective planning, problem solving, prioritization, and execution.
- Establish and maintain a cross‑functional staffing and training plan, provide regular feedback and coaching to direct reports.
- Develop and maintain employee morale and motivation through timely communication, team cohesiveness, effective employee relations and coaching. Partner with leadership and HR to resolve employee relations issues.
- Implement LEAN manufacturing initiatives under Plant Manager guidance in line with the overall plant improvement strategy.
- Apply mechanical aptitude of tools, machinery, and basic engineering knowledge.
- Perform administrative activities necessary for effective team management: time and attendance, personnel and production schedules, production data analysis, trends, and reports.
- Assist with the monthly physical inventory as designated by the Plant Manager.
- Develop understanding of the end‑to‑end production process to manage daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and provide overall guidance to the team.
- Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain a positive work environment by communicating effectively with customers, co‑workers, clients, and direct reports.
- Support continuous learning of self and others.
- Other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Anticipated Pay Range$72,219 - $108,329

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or other related field preferred.
- 5 years of management experience preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other manufacturing software applications.
- Working knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing Principles.
- Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates and to plan, monitor, and schedule work.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
- Frequent repetition of motions that may include wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Frequent movement to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another.
- Occasional adjustment or movement of objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Constant use of computer for prolonged periods.
- Constantly thinking and processing information.
- Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
- Frequent exposure to production area with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protective equipment required when entering manufacturing plant.
- Some office and frequent exposure to computer displays.
