AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area.

Pay: $25 per hour; can increase with level of education and experience

What you will do:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the AJATC medical team and provides general health care of students within the scope of your license.
• Administer immunizations, assist with TB screen, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance of students and staff.
• Assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
• Assist in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.

To be considered you should:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend)
