Overview
Position Summary...
What you'll doLeads and develops teams by teaching and training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams. Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing customer service initiatives, and supporting community programs.
Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience. Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures merchandising presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes align with sales and profit goals. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing performance, and promoting a culture of belonging.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, communicating goals, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and ethics through Open Door policies and applying these in business processes.
