Research Technician

Position: Research Technician I-2
* High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Two years of laboratory experience or related areas
* Bachelor's in Biology, Neuroscience or related field
* Some experience in research in neuroscience or related field
* Experience in immunohistochemistry, microscopy, behavioral analysis in mice, molecular biology
* Tissue collection and processing from mice
* Electrophysiology technique and stereotaxic surgery
* Knowledge of laboratory equipment, scientific apparatus, and computer equipment
* Knowledge of lab room preparation and lab techniques and safety
* Able to multitask and work cooperatively with others
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills recreation facilities, the Bush Library and Museum, and much more await you.
