Retail Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management or third key experience. The role involves managing daily store operations, leading and developing staff, recruiting, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will analyze financial statements, promote asset protection, and work with a variety of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

This position offers an hourly wage, plus commission and bonuses based on performance. The pay rate ranges from $13.50 to $19.00 per hour.

• Facilitating a customer-centric environment and addressing issues promptly.
• Training staff and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Recruiting and onboarding new employees.
• Opening and closing the store, managing cash and merchandise.
• Monitoring financial and inventory controls.
• Driving profitability and managing customer relations.
• Acting as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Supervisory experience and ability to work with firearms (certification required).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy, cash handling experience, and strong organizational skills.
