** Job Summary
** The Supply Supervisor manages directs the day-to-day activities of the team including managing the packing supply inventory. This role is responsible for reconciling the packing inventory, ordering needed packing supplies, and providing support for the Purchasing manager.
** Job Responsibilities
*** Supervise and direct the day-to-day departmental activities including developing daily and weekly work plans and workflows and determining department priorities and assignments ensuring packing supplies are available when needed
* Manage inventory process including reconciling inventory, ordering additional supplies in a cost-effective manner, and maintaining required documentation and computerized databases ensuring reported inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date
* Manage employee performance including coordinating activities of associates, reviewing their work, and administering corrective actions if needed while remaining compliant with Company
* Train and cross-train employees providing feedback in areas where successful and opportunities for improvement supporting professional development
* Follow and ensure others follow all required safety requirements including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in areas where mandatory in support of a zero-accident culture
* Identify opportunities for improvement, develop solution and lead or participate on team to implement
* Perform other related duties as directed

Skills and Abilities

*** Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management
* Strong math and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook and internal inventory software
* Ability to resolve conflict effectively and efficiently, handling issues independently with discretion to elevate when needed
* Ability to utilize a hand jack and forklift as needed
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail.
* Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with other employees and vendors
* Ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.
* Ability to frequently move about facility and outside (often in inclement weather)
* Ability to work non-stand shifts as required for business need (weekends, holidays, extended)
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with further ability to lift overhead occasionally
* Ability to withstand extreme warm humid / cold wet environments
** Education
* * The position requires a High School Diploma/ Equivalent
** Experience
* * The position requires a minimum two (2) years relevant experience in supply chain, inventory or other related discipline. Demonstrated leadership experience.

** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in a manufacturing environment, cold and humid and/ or hot and dusty environment. Loud noise above 89 dbs. possible and the ability to work non-standard shifts (holiday, weekend, and extended) to meet business need
