Maintenance Manager

Overview

Location: Bryan, TX

Salary: $ USD Annually - $ USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager in Texas.

• Oversees, plans, and issues work orders to appropriate shift team members for equipment modifications, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborates closely with manufacturing/production departments to ensure equipment is consistently maintained and all preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are completed on time.
• Manages relationships with external contractors and service providers.
• Tracks, analyzes, and drives improvement in Maintenance department KPIs.
• Reviews plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) — daily, weekly, and monthly — and makes recommendations to enhance operations, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and maintenance issue resolution.
• Engages employees in problem-solving to address production issues and improve efficiencies, utilizing Lean Manufacturing techniques as appropriate.
• Drives cost savings through equipment repairs, upgrades, improved PM programs, reduced cycle times, and other initiatives.
• Maintains facility compliance with all fire and safety codes (municipal, state/provincial, federal), including required testing and inspections of fire protection systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) certification preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including Industrial Automation, PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Injection Molding (experience in high-volume manufacturing or packaging environments is a plus).
• Strong analytical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
