We are seeking a highly strategic and financially rigorous Senior Planning & Strategy Manager to lead enterprise strategy, capital planning, and investor-aligned growth execution during our R&D and early commercialization phase.
This role is critical in translating technical innovation into a structured, investable commercialization roadmap. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of R&D, commercialization strategy, and capital markets — ensuring technology milestones, scale-up planning, and funding strategy are fully aligned.
This position partners directly with the CEO, CFO, and Technical Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities Commercialization Strategy Development- Develop and maintain a phased commercialization roadmap from pilot through demonstration to commercial-scale deployment.
- Define differentiated value propositions across priority markets (e.g., renewable fuels, low-carbon solutions, circular feed stocks).
- Translate technical development milestones into commercial inflection points and valuation drivers.
- Identify high-probability market entry pathways and early adopter segments.
- Support go-to-market and early offtake strategy development.
- Build investor-grade financial models tied to staged scale-up scenarios.
- Support equity raises, strategic investment rounds, grant funding, and non-dilutive capital initiatives.
- Align capital strategy with technical developmenttimelines and risk reduction milestones.
- Define capital requirements for pilot, demonstration, and first-of-a-kind (FOAK) facilities.
- Support data room preparation and investor due diligence processes.
- Establish measurable technical and commercial milestones linked to valuation inflection points.
- Develop stage-gated capital deployment frameworks.
- Integrate R&D progress into enterprise-level strategic planning.
- Provide board-level runway analysis, risk forecasting, and milestone tracking dashboards.
- Monitor regulatory frameworks, renewable fuel standards, carbon incentives, and tax credit programs.
- Identify policy mechanisms and subsidy structures that enhance project economics.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking of emerging technologies and adjacent solutions.
- Evaluate strategic partnerships with offtake partners, infrastructure players, and strategic investors.
- Scale-up cost curves

- Commodity price sensitivity analysis
- Carbon credit and incentive impacts
- Conduct downside and upside risk scenarios.
- Integrate techno-economic analysis (TEA) into long-term strategic planning.
- Model capital efficiency and cost-to-scale reduction trajectories.
- Prepare board-ready strategic updates and commercialization progress reports.
- Develop investor materials articulating technology differentiation, scalability, and capital efficiency.
- Present commercialization pathways in clear, disciplined, and capital-aware narratives.
- Support diligence processes with data-driven strategic insights.
- Strengthen investor confidence during the pre-revenue phase.
- Secure capital aligned with milestone achievement and de-risking progress.
- Enhance capital efficiency across staged deployment.
- Position the company as a scalable, investable technology platform.
- Build credibility with strategic, infrastructure, and climate-focused investors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering a plus, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred (Project Management, Energy Management, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering)
- 8–12+ years of experience in strategy, investment banking, venture capital, project finance, cleantech growth, or commercialization
- Experience in R&D-stage, pre-revenue, or scale-up environments
- Strong understanding of infrastructure capital, project finance, and energy transition markets
- Advanced financial modeling (CAPEX-intensive projects preferred)
- Fundraising and investor communications experience
