Role Overview

As our Discovery Paralegal and Mediation Coordinator, you will be essential to the litigation process. You will support attorneys in preparing and managing discovery, and you will coordinate all mediations to ensure that every case moves forward smoothly and efficiently.

Compensation

$23 - $25 per hour plus performance-based bonus compensation

Responsibilities Discovery and Case Preparation
  • Manage and organize discovery materials, including written discovery and document production
  • Review and summarize evidence for attorney use
  • Draft discovery requests, responses, and legal correspondence
  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure all records are accurate and accessible
Mediation Coordination
  • Schedule and coordinate all mediations with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and mediators
  • Prepare mediation packets and summaries
  • Communicate clearly with all parties about mediation logistics and deadlines
  • Track follow‑up tasks and outcomes after each mediation
Attorney and Client Support
  • Assist attorneys in case preparation and exhibit organization
  • Communicate professionally with clients and court personnel
  • Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate calendaring
Qualifications

You are a proactive and detail‑focused paralegal who enjoys working on a high‑performing legal team. You bring strong organizational and communication skills, and you are committed to supporting attorneys and clients with excellence. Experience in litigation or family law is preferred.

  • 3 or more years of experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience with discovery processes, mediation scheduling, and case file management
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
  • A professional and compassionate approach when working with clients and legal teams
