About Us:At Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers, our core purpose is to protect injured Texans from getting taken advantage of by big insurance companies. We provide representation with heart and aggression, and we find value in our clients’ unique stories. Part of our work in the Marketing department is to share information with people who may not realize they need us – until they do.
Our content is designed to educate, guide, and connect with people when it matters most.
Now, we’re looking for a creative Video Editing Intern to help bring our clients’ stories (and our social media content) to life. This is your chance to gain real-world experience, learn industry-standard editing, and contribute to content that will make a difference in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do:- Take raw footage and turn it into short, engaging social videos for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Polish videos with basic color correction, audio cleanup, and graphics while keeping our brand consistent.
- Organize projects, work with proxies, and make sure every file is easy to find and edit.
- Collaborate with our team, take feedback, and iterate quickly to make each video the best it can be.
Technical Skills
- Basic Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve skills.
- Familiarity with basic video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for social media.
- Basic color grading and audio cleanup skills.
- Experience with vertical videos (9:16) and platform-specific requirements.
- Ability to keep projects organized and easy to navigate.
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual flow.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles.
- Ability to follow brand/style guides while matching our “voice” in video.
- Eye for social content that hooks viewers in the first few seconds.
- Attention to detail – from audio syncing to catching small mistakes.
- Open to feedback and ready to iterate quickly.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Curious, eager to learn, and willing to ask questions.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
- Hands‑on experience editing real client stories and social content.
- Mentorship from experienced editors and marketing pros.
- Build a professional portfolio that shows off your skills.
- Be part of a team that values people first – both clients and colleagues.
