- Average Pay: $80,000.
- Sign‑on bonus:
Up to $10,000 for qualified candidates, depending on experience. - 3rd shift–overnight.

- Inspect the tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
- Inspect the bill of lading and verify keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
- Drive the tractor‑trailer to the destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering on the road and on customer premises.
- Maintain driver logs (manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
- Unload the trailer and deliver the product into customer premises.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
- At least 1 year (or 50,000 verifiable miles) of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
- Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk‑rating qualifications.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks safely and effectively.
