We are seeking a proactive EHS Manager to lead our client's safety and environmental programs. In this role, you will ensure full regulatory compliance while fostering a high-performance safety culture within their metal fabrication operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Auditing: Oversee OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory compliance. Lead internal/external audits and manage ISO 14001 standards.
Risk Management: Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Implement effective corrective actions for near misses.
Environmental Oversight: Manage hazardous materials (welding gases, oils, metal dust), air emissions, and stormwater programs.
Training & Engagement: Lead safety committees, toolbox talks, and emergency drills to drive employee engagement.
Leadership: Supervise and develop a high-performance team, managing performance reviews and safety KPIs.
Technical Integration: Partner with engineering on "Change Management" to ensure new equipment and processes meet safety standards.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in manufacturing (metal fabrication preferred) and 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
Certifications:
* ISO 14001 Lead Auditor (Required).
OSHA 30-Hour General Industry (Required or obtained within 6 months).
First Aid/CPR & HAZWOPER (Preferred).
Skills: Deep knowledge of welding fumes, machine guarding, and hot work safety. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
