• Under the direction of a licensed nurse and with respect for human dignity, delivers a variety of high‑quality care, and performs basic patient care that meets the unique needs of assigned patients.
• Responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence; adheres to PH Standards of Behavior.

• Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
• If the candidate is at least 17 years old but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, the candidate must be actively working toward it and receive it within 2 years of hire.

• Must obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification preferred.
• If assigned to the Parkview Randallia Family Birthing Center, PCTs must be bonded as a notary public within 6 months of hire for those 18 years and older.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a patient care setting preferred, but not required.

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
• Demonstrates ability to multi‑task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must attend four (4) days of New Hire/Patient Care/EPIC Orientation. Typical Orientation schedule:
Monday (All Day), Tuesday (All Day), Wednesday (All Day), Thursday (All Day).
