Summary

Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned walk‑in clinic(s). Works in collaboration with the clinical team to provide quality care to patients and support providers through consistent communication.

Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health career Association (NHA) or a National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).

CPR required.

Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.

• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred.
• Familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
