Bryan Elementary is looking for a a qualified candidate who will design and deliver developmentally appropriate physical education classes for students in grades preschool (PK) through 2nd grade. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep understanding of early childhood motor development. We are looking for someone who will foster a positive environment that promotes physical literacy, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Plan and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with state standards and age-appropriate benchmarks

Teach fundamental motor skills (balance, coordination, agility, spatial awareness, rhythm, etc.)

Introduce basic sport skills through games and structured play

Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment

Adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and abilities

Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff

Organize school-wide events such as Field Day or other movement celebrations

Maintain equipment and ensure safety procedures are followed

Communicate regularly with families about student progress

Qualified candidates must obtain a valid Ohio Teaching License.
