Freelance Enterprise Architect

Position: g2 Recruitment Solutions - Freelance Enterprise Architect
For a Brussels client focused on the Transportation Industry, I am looking for a Freelance Enterprise Architect to join on an initial 6-month contract. The main goal of the role will be to create a more efficient, centralized application which will make it easier to access the data.

State of play currently

The client currently has an inefficient, outdated system (using VB3) in which it is becoming more and more difficult to be a secure data organization.

Client currently has an in-house intermediary software which combines all their different software packages. All these packages are talking to each other and it isn't as smooth as desired.

Target:

Create a new integration layer which helps the interaction between the packages and ensures a more efficient data layer.

Have a centralized layer (using APIs) which can feed the Data Warehouse and ensure a smoother functioning data system

What you need?

Strong experience within Enterprise Architecture - Knowledge of frameworks and best practices.

French and Dutch speaking

Sector experience a bonus.

Logistics

Hybrid working in Brussels - occasional travel to locations across Belgium may be possible.
