Roadside Technician Commercial Tires - Brunswick, OH

Overview

The Roadside Technician is an emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets. When a customer has a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customers location to repair or change the tire. When there are no service calls pending, Technicians help mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and perform other general duties as needed. This role includes mandatory on-call rotation with after-hours service requests and a premium pay rate.

• Respond to roadside tire-related failures by repairing or changing tires at customer locations.
• Be on-site and available during assigned on-call periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and assist with general duties as needed.
• Assist with on-call support and after-hours service requests with a high rate of acceptance.
• Perform servicing of commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting, repairing tires, and inspecting for safety concerns.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

• Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing tires of various types.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including proper PPE usage, tire cages, and safety policies and procedures.
