- Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
- Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction; introduces and leads company change efforts; provides clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manages and supports customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs; ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved; develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensures alignment to sales, monitors merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes; develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates, communicating expectations consistently, and developing qualified staff to meet staffing needs and growth potential.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives; builds accountability and measures progress; identifies improvement opportunities and promotes continuous learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses; certain positions may include regional pay zone (RPZ) or complex structure adjustments based on location and external factors. Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific background check and training may be required. For facilities selling only ammunition with state requirements, a state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
Associates must attend and complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5 or more direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
