Position: OR Nurse (RN) - Brunswick, Maine
Join a leading Level One Trauma Center as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care with a focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures. This contract opportunity requires at least three years of Level 1 trauma-trained experience and proficiency in advanced surgical nursing. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care during complex surgical procedures including robotics (Da Vinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies
• Support a 26-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios, employing advanced equipment like Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot
• Maintain competency with the Epic EMR system
• Collaborate effectively as a flexible, accountable, and team-oriented professional in a fast-paced environment
• Fulfill call requirements including overnight trauma coverage on a rotating basis

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years RN-Operating Room experience with level 1 trauma certification
• Competence in robotics-assisted surgery and specialized GU/GYN procedures
• Preferred certifications: CNOR
• Experience with a broad surgical patient base including trauma, ortho, neuro, ENT, plastics, pediatrics, and endovascular procedures

Schedule & Contract Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts (7 a.m.
  
  - 7 p.m.)
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week plus one out of four weekends with 12-hour shifts
• One overnight call per week from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for trauma responsibilities
