Job Summary: The Stockroom Manager oversees daily operations of the Facilities Stockroom, managing inventory, procurement, and organization under the Director of Facilities Operations and Maintenance. The manager supervises a team of two full‑time and one casual employee, provides training, maintains stock levels, manages the stockroom budget, assists staff and customers with inventory inquiries, and keeps a clean, orderly work environment.
Essential Functions- Procure inventory items in consultation with shop managers to maintain appropriate stock levels, including ordering and receiving department‑specific uniforms.
- Maintain inventory file in WebTMA.
- Manage data entry functions of inventory issues and receiving to assure accuracy.
- Coordinate perpetual and/or annual inventory counts.
- Manage stockroom operating budget and process all credit card expenses for stock and shops.
Hourly range: $29.50–$31.50 per hour. Compensation is based on skills and experience.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; vocational training and/or associate’s degree preferred.
- Valid Maine driver’s license required.
- Fork lift operator certification a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exemplary organizational skills; prioritize work, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database management systems, and email platforms.
- Identify issues, generate solutions, and make sound decisions.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required.
- Experience in a stockroom/warehouse operation and accounting strongly preferred.
This position is subject to a criminal history record check, motor vehicle record check, and a pre‑placement physical.

Standard Work Days and HoursFull‑time position, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (occasional nights and/or weekends may be required). On‑site role; candidates must work in person at Bowdoin College Campus in Brunswick, Maine.
