Under the Supervision of the Executive Director, the Manager of Dining Services is responsible for the operation of the Food Service Department. This will be accomplished within the standards, objectives, guidelines, policies, and procedures established for Thornton Oaks. The Manager is responsible for conducting sound departmental operations and for integrating the food service with the facility concept of operations. Manager will also perform such other duties as directed by the Executive Director.
RequiredMinimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Culinary Arts) - License/
Certifications:
Serve Safe Food Protection Manager Certification - Experience:
Minimum 10 years in food service industry; minimum 5 years supervisory experience in management, food ordering, inventory evaluation, cost containment, menu preparation, and oversight of all dining staff
