Location: Maine | Primarily In-Person (Hybrid Flexibility Available)
Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 base + annual bonus (company performance-based)

Job Type: Full-Time | Exempt

STARC Systems is a fast-growing, Maine-based manufacturing company seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and partner closely with leadership during an exciting period of growth.

This role is ideal for an HR leader with strong manufacturing or operational experience, deep knowledge across HR disciplines, and a hands-on leadership style.

• Lead daily HR operations and oversee HR systems, processes, and team members
• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, employee relations, and organizational initiatives
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on performance management, compliance, and employee engagement
• Lead talent acquisition efforts and support scalable people program
• Manage complex employee relations matters and ensure compliance with employment laws
• Oversee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, safety, and risk programs
• Use HR data and metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Broad HR expertise across employee relations, compliance, talent, benefits, and systems
• Proven leadership experience in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organization
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem‑solving skills
• HR certification (SHRM or PHR) preferred
