The Senior Outpatient Program is a dedicated team that works collaboratively together within our larger Brunswick outpatient clinic to address behavioral health concerns in patients aged 65 and up. Specific domains such as life transitions, grief and loss, changes in functional ability, independence, and caregiver support are discussed and reviewed alongside behavioral health symptoms in need of treatment. We are seeking a clinician who is passionate about working with older adults with prior experience with this population, though we also welcome applicants who have always wanted to work more closely with seniors and their support systems.
Summary

The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Master s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
Certifications:
Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
