The Brunswick School Department is seeking individuals who are interested in becoming an ed tech for our district. Through this apprenticeship program, those who have a high school diploma can become employed as an Ed Tech I, while they participate in the apprenticship program through SMCC.
The program is 18‑months and is designed for those who want to become Ed Tech IIs. This program is the first of its kind to provide this opportunity. After completing the Intro to Teaching Bootcamp, you will spend one day per week (after work hours) doing coursework while also receiving experiential credit working in the classroom.

You will receive a mentor to support you throughout the process. The coursework is free to participants through SMCC.
To participate, you must beomce employed through the Brunswick School System and apply to participate in the Apprenticeship program through SMCC. There is also opportunity to continue your education to receive Ed Tech III authorization and even your teacher certification.
