Highway Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance operations on I-95, based in Brunswick, Georgia. The role involves various tasks related to highway maintenance, adhering to all applicable regulations and company policies.

• Perform highway maintenance tasks as part of a team, including road patrol, incident response, lighting and sign repair, guardrail repair, heavy equipment operation, and herbicide application (licensed applicators).
• Must be flexible and available to work on-call and nights as necessary.

• Roadway maintenance or construction experience
• MOT Certifications
• Clean driving record and ability to pass criminal background check

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of local driving rules and safety equipment
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, use smartphones and applications
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
• Adaptability to changing schedules and technology

Full-time, with on-call availability. Two weeks of paid on-the-job training in Jacksonville, FL, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm, with accommodations provided.
