Job Summary:

Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport bricks in the loading yard. Responsibilities include stacking products safely, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and assisting with general yard operations. The role may require working irregular schedules, holidays, and weekends based on production demands.

Work Schedule:

Day

Shift: 40 hours per week, 7:30AM to 5:30PM.

Schedules are subject to change, and employees may be required to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

• Operate a forklift to transport and stack bricks safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload trucks following weight distribution guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records of product movement and inventory levels.

• Perform pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report maintenance issues.

• Follow all safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading yard.

Support Duties:

• Assist with yard organization and product staging.

• Support maintenance teams by reporting equipment malfunctions.

• Help ensure proper labeling and identification of brick loads.

• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift.

• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment exposed to varying weather conditions.

• Must be able to work in an industrial setting with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.

Training:

• Adhere to all safety policies and job-safe work practices.

• Obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.

• Learn and implement lockout/tagout and confined space entry procedures.

• Participate in equipment and personal safety training sessions.

Compensation:
This position follows a progressive pay scale, with increases based on performance, knowledge, and experience.
