Job SummaryThis is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. This is manual labor of a physically demanding nature which involves performing a variety of grounds and landscaping duties and assisting in event setups. The work is sometimes performed in adverse climatic conditions. Most duties do not require a high degree of manipulative skill; however, as work experience is gained, employees may be assigned to more difficult tasks of a semi-skilled nature.
Work is closely supervised with the employee receiving specific instructions at the beginning of the workday. The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student’s class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.
- Perform manual labor role performing a variety of grounds and landscaping duties.
- Pull weeds, pick up debris, water plants and care for shrubs.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, moving furniture, and setting up for special events.
- Perform related work as required.
- Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times.
- May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus.
$9 per hour

- Ability to effectively write and communicate.
- Ability to bend and stoop on a repetitive basis and to lift up to 75 lbs.
