The Production Associate II will accomplish the preparation and packaging of frozen extruded or specialty food (French toast, cheese, and other) products made on the production lines at the Brunswick facility by performing certain assigned tasks handling, aligning, inspecting, or packing ingredients, food, or packaging materials. Contribute to the profit and well‑being of the Company by performing tasks in a safe, efficient, quality‑conscious, and cost‑conscious manner and by working in a cooperative manner with his/her team leader and co‑workers.

• Communicate effectively in group or team environments about safety and product quality.
• Report all workplace safety concerns to the appropriate personnel and take corrective action when appropriate.
• Promote a culture of safety and efficiency by adhering to plant safety and work rules.
• Ensure fellow associates are aware of and in compliance with all safety rules.
• Approach safety with a positive attitude and watch out for the wellbeing of others.
• Support plants’ 6S initiative by keeping supplies and equipment organized.
• Move pallets, moving large amounts of weight with an electric pallet jack or hand pallet jack.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Palletize finished cases per specifications, ensuring each case is properly labeled, packaged, and sealed.
• Supply packaging materials as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment throughout the plant according to GMP and safety guidelines.
• Ensure products meet all quality and GMP standards.
• Operate processing and mixing equipment according to established SOPs.
• Portion and scale ingredients, verifying process control points and product quality.
• Manage work in process and assist Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products.
• Ensure products meet specifications (e.g., weights, temperature, etc.) set by Quality Assurance.
• Monitor use of safety devices and equipment, maintain general housekeeping, and stay alert for hazardous conditions and practices.
• Make adjustments to ensure quality and correct and consistent weights.
• Complete production reports as required.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills, good verbal and written communication.
• One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment (plus).< /li>
• Ability to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors.
• Responsible for knowing and adhering to Good Manufacturing Standards.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to complete reports and forms.
• Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions; able to work around flour, cinnamon and other bakery ingredients.
• Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling and moving about the facility.
• Able to work in both hot and cold environments.
• Works in high noise areas and uses mandatory hearing protection.
• May be required to work various shifts.
• Works with potentially hazardous chemicals and/or equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
