DutiesServing as an Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software) GS-2210-11/12 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Directorate, IT Business Management Division.
The primary purpose of this position is providing comprehensive support for applications developed within the Microsoft Power Platform environment. The position supports Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, with a strong emphasis on secure application lifecycle operations and sound data management practices such as semantic data modeling, dataset governance, secure data access, refresh and gateway management, and compliant information handling.
The position works closely with application developers, data owners and stewards, end users, cybersecurity personnel, and other IT professionals to ensure the efficient, secure operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Power Platform applications and the data they depend upon, upholding principles that protect data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
