Personal Caregiver

Overview

We are hiring CNA, HHA, and PCA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care in their homes in the Brunswick, GA area. We have a variety of hours available and offer benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Job Summary

The Person al Care Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks to help an individual remain in their own home.

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notifies the Agency Director immediately if any incidents or accidents occur.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required.
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing (in bed, tub, or shower), hair care, denture care, nail care (filing only), skin care (pericare and lotion), and transfers of the patient from bed to chair, wheelchair, or commode.
• Assists with household tasks directly essential to the client's personal care.

Experience Desired

• Six months of experience in home care preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

• Current CPR certification required.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
