Behavioral Health Therapist; Children & Famlies

Morningstar Children and Family Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Master's-level Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Brunswick, GA. This is a part-time, billable role providing therapeutic services to children and families who have experienced significant trauma and behavioral health challenges.

As a valued member of our clinical team, you’ll play a key role in helping our youth heal, grow, and thrive through trauma-informed care.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Deliver timely crisis intervention and support
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Georgia licensure and/or certification to practice counseling OR approved DHR state‑exempt status
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mental health and/or substance abuse counseling
• Strong understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality standards
• Passion for serving children and families impacted by trauma and adversity
